Kelzang Handicraft was founded in 1995 by Kelzang Wangmo, also known as Jambay. Jambay is a native of Khoma village in Lhuntse—a rural village celebrated for weaving intricate Kishutharas. Jambay, who began her weaving journey at ten and ventured to Thimphu at sixteen, now leads a team of skilled women artisans, creating award-winning designs that are as functional as they are beautiful.
